Friends of Mining and Metallurgy (BHV)
Ever since 1864 BHV has acted to nurture and maintain interest in mining and metallurgy operations.
The purpose of Friends of Mining and Metallurgy is through annual meetings and by way of lectures and discussions on subjects related to mining and metallurgy, as well as the publication of proceedings, to nurture and maintain interest in the industry.
The AGM is held in January, in connection with Hindersmässan, the large mid-winter fair in the city of Örebro, with roots in the medieval iron trade.
