Public Affairs Council
Developing synergy, market monitoring and sharing of knowledge relating to public affairs work are the Council’s area of responsibility.
Teamwork on behalf of the steel industry’s public affairs
Co-owner and stakeholder representatives work together on public affairs related issues within the Council. The purpose of the council is to be a forum for knowledge sharing, monitoring of developments and co-ordination on issues of importance for the industry.
The council’s efforts are led by Jernkontoret’s Public Affairs Director, Kristian Ljungblad. There are monthly online meetings as well as in-person meetings about twice a year. In-person meetings are best arranged in conjunction with a site visit to one of Jernkontoret’s companies.
